4growth VC Strengthens Management Team and Signals Upcoming Investments
Jan Kastory and Tomasz Pasiewicz have joined the 4growth VC team. Their expertise will boost deal sourcing (dealflow) and exit processes (M&A). The new Managing Partners will join the fund, which is backed by capital from the PFR KOFFI program and private investors. With a total capitalization of PLN 86.8 million, these funds are earmarked for Polish startups.
“Bringing on new partners is a strategic enhancement of our management team. Jan’s experience and standing in the startup ecosystem will help us build a strong pipeline and select the best projects. Meanwhile, Tomek’s unique expertise will support our transactional activity, particularly regarding planned exits. We have also recently received a favorable decision from all investors to reactivate our fund backed by PFR Ventures’ KOFFI program. Consequently, we will be announcing our next transaction very soon,” says Krzysztof Bachta, Founding Partner at 4growth VC.
4growth VC’s investment strategy for the coming years outlines capital commitments of PLN 6–8 million across 8–10 companies, focusing primarily on the fintech, insurtech, and medtech sectors.

Prior to launching the fund, its current partners—while still at Alior Bank—also backed the early stages of what are now flagship Polish startups, such as PayPo and Autenti. The fund is set to announce a new investment this quarter and plans to close at least three transactions in total by the end of 2026.

About the New Managing Partners
Jan Kastory brings extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Prior to joining 4growth VC, he co-founded astorya.vc, a fund specializing in early-stage European insurtech and fintech companies. Through astorya.vc, he invested in companies such as France-based Zelros (subsequently acquired by Earnix) and Weecover, a leading embedded insurance company in Spain.
Tomasz Pasiewicz is a financial and investment advisor with over 30 years of experience, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and business development. He previously worked in investment banking at Schroders and Citigroup. He was also a Corporate Finance/M&A Partner at KPMG and a co-founder and partner at Saski Partners.
